Yesterday Z and her mom and I rented a car and drove to the most beautiful place I have been to yet...
Taormina is on the northeastern coast of the island and it is an amazingly beautiful city with lots of beaches, shops and mountains. We drove up to the top of a mountain to see a castle and realized that the best views of the city are from the top of it.
We ate at a little restaurant overlooking the coast and town below us, and then stopped a few times on the drive back down to take more pictures. My camera can't capture how beautiful it was and it started to get dark while we were there, but hopefully we'll go back again and spend more time there.
For now, these pictures show a little glimpse of the town.
